Jack D. Cooper, 84, was a carpenter, WW II Army vet

Jack D. Cooper, 84, of Ephrata, passed away at Ephrata Manor after a recent illness.

Jack was born in Ephrata, son of the late J. Stanley and Lillian (Beck) Cooper. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and worked as a carpenter.

He is survived by a sister: Mary Jane Scheaffer of Ephrata and three nephews: James Scheaffer of Lancaster; Michael Cooper of Denver; and Thomas Cooper, husband of Susan, of Myerstown.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by three brothers: John, James and Robert Cooper and one sister: Rose Martin.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
