Keith A. Swavely, 50, of Denver, passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Reading, son of Patricia (Daniels), wife of Richard Dionysius of Ephrata, and the late Donald Swavely.
Keith worked as an electrician for Arc Electric and most recently worked as a maintenance worker at the F&M Hat Co. He loved his children very much and enjoyed football, the Atlanta Falcons, NASCAR, the Detroit Red Wings, and watching Duck Dynasty.
He is survived by his wife Kimberly (Clark) Swavely, whom he shared 27 years of marriage with; two daughters: Kristina Swavely and boyfriend Steven Irvin of Ephrata; Karley Swavely and fiancé Steven "Bubba" Kolocin of Denver; two grandchildren: Haley Paige Swavely Rollman and James Anthony Swavely Himelright; five brothers and sisters: Donnie Swavely, companion of Claire of Sinking Spring; Lisa, wife of the late Bob Dulabohn of Robesonia; Todd Swavely of Reinholds; Sean Swavely of Galen Hall and Kathy, wife of Michael Giannotti of Leesport and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Keith was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda, and her husband Bill Grant.
Funeral services were held Dec. 23 at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, Denver, with Chaplain Glenn Beard officiating. Interment took place in the Fairview Cemetery, Annex.
