Edwin E. Hess, 65, formerly of Ephrata, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013, at his residence.
He was born in Ephrata to the late Earl and Erla (Kindt) Hess.
Edwin was VP of Hess Business Brokers, Inc.
He is survived by a son: Bradley Wade Hess of Lancaster; a daughter: Dana Lynn Hess, companion of Marc Dozois of Falls River, Mass.; two grandchildren: Briana and Nathaniel; two brothers: David L. Hess of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Arnold R. Hess, companion of Dorinda Showalter of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and a sister: Doris E., wife of Ray H. Good of Akron.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Thomas and Douglas Hess.
Funeral services were held June 29 at the Stradling Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastor Galen Hackman officiating. Interment took place in the Mohler's Brethren Cemetery.
