Ralph Wingenroth, 77, of Stevens, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at home.
He was born in West Cocalico Township, son of the late Ervin and Ada (Houck) Landis Wingenroth and was the husband of the late Lillie R. (Ross) Wingenroth.
He enjoyed horseback riding and was an active member of the Friendly Horseman's Club in Denver. He was also very active in his community of Millstone Manor.
Ralph worked as a supervisor for Kalas Manufacturing in Denver for 34 years prior to his retirement.
Ralph is survived by a son: Alex R., husband of Marian (McGallicher) Wingenroth of Denver; a daughter: Brenda A., wife of Allen Jackson of Temple; three grandchildren: Bruce, husband of Amy Wingenroth of Lititz; Samantha Schur of Denver and Christie Stauffer, also of Denver; three great-grandchildren: Samantha and Cody Wingenroth of Lititz and Britt Osborne of Denver; and a sister: Pauline Fisher of Lancaster.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Leon and Clyde Wingenroth.
A viewing will be held Jan. 9 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Roland Anderson II officiating. Private interment will take place in Mellingers Union Cemetery.
