Joseph S. Lintner, 54, of Akron, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at his residence.
He was born in Lancaster to the late Robert and Anna Mae (Coleman) Lintner and was the husband of Penny (Boose) Lintner with whom he shared 13 years of marriage.
Joseph worked as a foundry supervisor for Boose Aluminum for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, restoring classic cars and he loved his dogs.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Jason Lintner, boyfriend of Corinne Levering of Ephrata; Joseph Lintner of Lancaster; two daughters: Tammy Lintner of Lancaster and Jen Lintner of Lancaster; four grandchildren; a brother: Ed, husband of Alisa Lintner of Philadelphia; two sisters: Dory Lintner of Pottsville and Patricia Lintner of Pottsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Dan and Randy Lintner.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
